Horrorcon UK – Sheffield 13th-14th May

Bloody zombies, creepy clowns and disgusting monsters! This is HorrorCon UK, Sheffield… and we love it!

Taking place at an ex steelworks factory, the Magna Science Adventure Centre becomes one of the greatest venues for a horror themed show. It’s dark, industrial hall with concentrated spotlights and absolutely no natural light really does excentuate the given theme of the show.

This was actually our second time trading here so we knew we were in for a great weekend.

The event saw the appearances of Sid Haig, Heather Langenkamp, Thom Mathews, Graham Humphreys, Matt Shaw and the one and only Elvira! (Cassandra Peterson.)

And that’s not all, amongst the special guests are a whole host of fantastic traders; Darkside Goodies, Last Shirt on the Left, Zombie Dollars, Twisted Abnormality and the Custom Cupcake Company to just name a few.

Now I must emphasise that as always, we are once again reminded of the fact that horror fans really are the best breed of people. Only at the horror conventions do we meet such a large quantity of brilliant, funny, eclectic, intelligent, wierd and wonderful beings. The atmosphere at a proper horror con cannot be surpassed. We absolutely love meeting you all. To be a part of the horror community really is an honour, which is why we look forward to these shows above all else.

So once again, thank you all for being awesome – and thank you to Gill for organising a fantastic show.

So that’s it for now, I’ll get back to work on the next new design whilst drinking some ‘damn fine coffee’ (hint hint) and we’ll hopefully see some of you again at LFCC in July.
